"Don’t let the ska designation scare you away from this six-song EP, because Zero Interest is mostly furious punk rock with infrequent ska accents. From the melodic but full-on punk rock assault of the title track to the ska-inflected rhythms of “No Restrictions,” the recording flies along at the speed of light and rarely comes up for air. Reminiscent at times of Against All Authority, NewTronBomb take no prisoners in their violent approach to the genre. The ska flourishes keeps Zero Interest from becoming a noisy blur, and you’ll appreciate those opportunities to catch your breath. If this is ska, then I’m more than okay with it.
