"These five lads from Williams Lake, BC, are twenty three years older than they were when they recorded these ten raging tracks back in 1996, but better late than never. Borrowing heavily from early ‘80s hardcore, Violation’s aggressive attack would have fit right in with hardcore heroes of the day such as Government Issue, 7 Seconds, or Gang Green. Suffice to say, this album will take you back to those days. Melodic enough to save it from being too obnoxious, but fast and loud enough to keep everyone happy, Violation packs a meaty hardcore punch. I don’t know what Williams Lake is like these days, but it must have been a riot back in ’96." - Chris Walter
